Who this applies to
This policy covers the AETHER platform at aetheragents.cloud, including the marketing pages, the documentation, the signed-in application and the paired mobile view. AETHER is operated by AI Explorers, registration number 2025/460302/07, a company incorporated in South Africa.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal information more broadly, and our Terms of Service.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Websites use them to keep you signed in, to remember settings, and sometimes to build a picture of how the site is used.
Browsers also offer other kinds of storage, such as local storage, which do the same job without technically being cookies. Where we use those, we list them here too and treat them under the same rules, because the distinction matters to a developer and not to you.

We currently set no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker on this site. The consent banner still offers those categories because the mechanism is built and ready: if we add such a service in future it will be blocked until you have agreed to it, rather than switched on and disclosed afterwards.
Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function. They sign you in, keep your session secure, protect forms, and remember your cookie choice and appearance setting. These cannot be switched off, because turning them off would mean you could not log in or submit a form. Under section 11 of the Protection of Personal Information Act and Article 6 of the GDPR, we rely on legitimate interest and on the necessity of performing our contract with you for these, not on consent.
Functional
Remember optional choices so the product behaves the same way next time. Nothing in this category is in use today.
Analytics
Tell us which pages and features are actually used, so we can decide what to improve. Nothing in this category is in use today. If we add analytics, we will update this page, bump the policy version, and ask you again.
Marketing
Measure whether our advertising reaches the right audience and allow content to be tailored to you on other sites. Nothing in this category is in use today.
Third-party services that load with our pages
Some parts of the site are delivered from other companies' networks. These do not set cookies for us, but your browser does connect to them, which means those companies can see your IP address and the fact that you requested a file. We list them so the picture is complete:
- Google Fonts, for the Inter typeface
- jsDelivr and Cloudflare's cdnjs, for open-source front-end libraries
- Tailwind's content delivery network, for page styling
These are loaded on public pages regardless of your cookie choice, because without them the pages would not render. We are working towards serving these files from our own infrastructure in South Africa.
Managing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Use the link in the footer of any page, or the same item in your account menu when you are signed in. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and there is no penalty for refusing: every part of AETHER works exactly the same either way.
When you withdraw consent for a category, we stop loading anything in that category and delete the cookies it had set.
Browser controls
Your browser can block or delete cookies independently of anything we do. The relevant settings are usually under Privacy or Site settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from being able to sign in to AETHER.
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals, because we set no tracking cookies for them to suppress. If that changes, this page will say so.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, such as introducing a new category of cookie, we increase an internal policy version number. That invalidates every choice recorded before the change, so the banner reappears and you are asked afresh. Minor corrections that do not change what we collect will be reflected in the "last updated" date without prompting you again.
